Cost Estimator

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-year degree in a related technical field
• BS or BA in engineering, architecture or a technical field highly desirable 
• Minimum 1 years of cost estimating experience 
• FEMA Experience Highly Desirable 
• Familiarity with FEMA-developed CEF is higly desirable
• Ability to independently prioritize and organize multiple tasks required
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to resolve technical issues while maintaining a good working relationship is required

Duties:

• Provide cost estimates of specified scope of repairs / upgrades
• Peer review of cost estimate reports
• Learn / use FEMA CEF (Cost Estimate Format) for cost estimates 
• Interpret specific guidelines and cost tables to provide standard cost estimates
